Our ongoing work with Danish Agriculture & Food Council regularly takes us into the fields to document Danish farming. But every so often, an industry story has a massive mainstream overlap. Enter DLF: a Danish seed giant quietly producing grass for the biggest football stadiums globally. And with the 2021 EUROs landing in Copenhagen, the cultural hook was sitting right in front of us.
Told as a short documentary-style profile, the 4-minute film reveals the massive scale of Danish seed production behind 200,000 global pitches a year. The film was released in late June right as the tournament kicked off - driving home the client's Åbent Landbrug mission of keeping the Danish public informed on what’s actually happening in the industry. A simple story, perfectly timed.
